The Briarwood Equestrian Tartan Doormat brings the collection's atmospheric horse motif to the threshold, layering softly rendered horses across deep heritage-inspired tartan in forest green, charcoal, muted russet and warm aged neutrals.

Framed with an ornamental border, the design has the character of an old country-house textile translated for the entryway—a subtle introduction to Briarwood's sporting-country side before you ever step through the door.

Made from natural coir coconut fiber, the textured surface helps remove dirt and debris from shoes, while a black vinyl backing provides stability. Its rich, darker palette works beautifully with natural wood, stone, brick, black-painted doors and seasonal greenery without limiting the design to any one season.

Place it at a covered front entry, porch or mudroom door for a practical finishing layer with a little of Briarwood's equestrian character.

Placement & Care

For best longevity, place the doormat in a covered, weather-protected location, such as beneath a porch roof, overhang, awning or portico.

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Natural coir may shed during the first month of use; simply shake the mat periodically to remove loose fibers.

Because coir is a natural material and each piece is made to order, slight variations in fiber texture and print appearance may occur.

Care instructions: Place your mat in a covered, weather-protected area such as under an overhang, awning or portico. Do not expose to direct sunlight or excessive moisture. Because these mats are made with natural coir fibers, there may be some initial shedding over the first month of use, it can be easily removed by occasionally shaking the mat to get rid of the loose fibers.
